What size karate gi do I need?

Our karate gi come in sizes from small to tall. To choose the right size, take your own body height, round off and then choose the closest size. So if you are 186 cm tall, size VI (190) is best for you. If you are 182 cm tall, both  V (180 cm) and VI (190 cm) are good sizes for you, depending on what you prefer. Note that kata suits have a different (shorter) cut than kumite suits.

You should not put your gi in the dryer. Are you planning to do so anyway? Then we advise you to buy onze size bigger than the size you actually need since the gi might shrink in the dryer. You KO gi will stay in great shape if you take good care of it. Click here to read more.
